Open Position: Human Capital Manager (HCM)
At Ribbon Biolabs we are taking synthetic biology to the next level!
Ribbon Biolabs is a small biotech company with locations in Vienna and in Klosterneuburg (outskirts of Vienna) developing the next technological wave of error-proof DNA synthesis. With our approach, we are developing a cost-efficient platform to produce long and complex DNA molecules, thereby enabling a new generation of biopharmaceutical processes and other synthetic biology products.
As an early-stage startup company with ambitious growth plans we are currently seeking to expand our team with a motivated and proactive Human Capital Manager to help us grow our company in the most efficient and sustainable way.
As an ambitious start-up we are searching for several new colleagues in the next couple of years, so one of the most important responsibilities as our new HCM will be to independently set-up and execute Ribbon’s talent identification and recruiting process. This includes the establishment of job descriptions with the management, pre-selection of the candidates and conduction of job interviews. Furthermore, the new colleague will be involved in the creation and development of on- and offboarding processes as well as staff development projects. As a dynamic and fast-growing start-up, we are constantly facing change processes, which should be also accompanied by the new HCM.
Ribbon Biolabs counts with multiple sources of funding including public grants and VC equity from tecnet equity and IST Cube. We are running a new, state-of-the art laboratory at IST Park in Klosterneuburg. The new laboratory in Vienna will serve a key role in translating our R&D operations in Klosterneuburg into actionable products serving our customers worldwide and upcoming hires will be focused in achieving this goal.
The successful candidate will join a small, agile and interdisciplinary team as soon as possible. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the company and to live and work in or near the city of Vienna, which is repeatedly ranked by Mercer as the city with the highest quality of life in the world.
